Commercial Upholstery Services
When most folks think of commercial upholstery they think of restaurant booths and waiting room chairs, but there's a lot more to it. I would like to share some of those services with you so you will think of us next time someone says, "We need new..."
Among some of the most popular commercial upholstery options is certainly new or refurbished seating. When you have sturdy hardwood frames that have worn or dated covering, re-upholstery is certainly your best choice. Today's furniture market produces an inexpensive product at high volume. It is NOT made to last and it won't. Very seldom is it cost effective to recover furniture that is less that ten years old and already worn out. If you bought it a Value City it will NOT be cheaper to re-upholster it! If that's all the furniture life you require we recommend that you buy another one. We recommend re upholstery for seating that has solid frames and has already lasted forty or fifty years or more! You simply cannot get the same quality in new mass produced seating and new, good quality furnishings are extremely expensive.
Now that we've cleared that up let's talk about some other things. Curtains and drapes can be bought at your local huge discount store, but once again if you're shopping for price you're NOT getting quality. You're not getting stain resistance, you're not getting heat and cold control and you're not getting a product with your own personal style sewn it.
We make lined and interlined drapery designed to block out and retain the heat and cold. They also block light and control privacy and can be made to fit electric rods or traverse rods for ease of opening and closing. You have your choice of hardware and hangings options be it rod pockets, wooden rings or traditional drapery hooks. We make slip covers to protect more expensive furniture from everyday wear and tear. Some fabrics are machine washable to keep your reception area and offices looking fresh and clean without the expense of having furniture steam cleaned.
We have samples of thousands of fabrics! Most box stores carry a couple of dozen styles and colors. We can give you almost limitless possibilities. Can your discount store exactly match your drapes to your furniture or throw pillows? We can. What about cornices? No box store that I know of can offer custom cornices. Suppose you just want to add some color, but not block out the light. Have you considered a custom valance? What if you want something less fluffy? Cornices can be made in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors. They can be made with deep returns to allow for shades or blinds underneath them
These days we live in a throw away world and while it might be cheaper initially, it is not cost effective in the long run. It certainly is not environmentally friendly to keep filling up the dumps and oceans with cheap throw away goods. It's not good for the earth, the atmosphere or your pocketbook! The most eco-friendly, economical approach is to find older, quality pieces and have them re-covered in a neutral, long wearing fabric. Pieces like that will last for generations, not just years or months.
Commercial upholstery services can include custom furniture, draperies, cornices, pillows, cushions, recovering of quality furniture frames, re-stuffing pillows and cushions and re-cutting and re-trimming existing furnishings and draperies, shades, valances and cornices.
Choose good quality furniture and soft furnishings that will last a lifetime. Change your accessories when you want to refresh your look. Save on heating and cooling. Save the environment. Save your money. Increase your bottom line. Support small business.
